I went to see an exhibition of Lee Ufan yesterday, and I really like Lee Ufan.
Lee Ufan's works have a quiet atmosphere, as if he has taken a step back, yet convey a strong will.
I won't say anything else about my impressions because I'm afraid you'll be asked what I'm talking about as an amateur, but I'll just say that I miss Naoshima, where I went a few years ago.

After returning home, I read HUNTER×HUNTER and started the GI edition.
Before the GI arc, Zepairu's supporting role is really good.
Although he doesn't appear in many scenes, I like how he falls in love with Gon's personality and goes to the extent of going into debt to get his hunter's license back.

That's why we started handling new brands from today.
Some of you may know because I announced it on Instagram, but it's a sock brand, aligatos.

I wasn't that interested in socks, so I just wore 6-pair sets from a cut-and-sew brand.
When I was working at a select shop, I used to buy things at my own store.
However, when I opened En -en-, I wanted to stock socks as well, so I researched what brands they had and found aligatos.
I forgot how I found it, though.

However, when I first approached them about handling the product, they refused because they said they did not do wholesale or consignment sales.
I was considering a few other brands, but I didn't think I needed them right away, so I put stocking the socks on hold.
Then, in October, Mr. Kazuki from aligatos came out to see the products and told me that he would start selling them on consignment, so I decided to sell them on the spot.
I'm glad I didn't approach anyone.

The concept of aligatos, which started with this background, is like this.

When I wear full-length pants, the socks don't show, so being a slob like me, I end up choosing socks without thinking.
However, even if you wear full-length pants, your face will show when you sit or take off your shoes, and when you wear tapered pants or pants that can be cuffed, your face will show clearly.
I sometimes think that socks can't be the main character of a style, but they can play a supporting role.

I felt that it was because of this solid core concept that I could play such a great supporting role, so I decided to handle it.

There are no sizes for such aligatos socks.
Since it has a cylindrical design without a heel, it can be worn up to 22-29cm.

Doesn't that make it look like a poor fit? I'm tempted to look at it with suspicion, but there's no problem.
Using a unique weaving method called ``3-stage gradation knitting'', it is designed to fit any foot shape.

What's more, by eliminating the seams at the toe area, which can be an annoyance on some items, we have achieved a gentler fit.

No matter where you look at these socks, you can feel the gentleness that is firmly attached to people.

I think they are very easy to use because the socks themselves do not have any patterns or other designs.
However, when you turn it over, the word "aligato" appears.
The word "aligato" in aligatos does not mean gratitude, but rather the feeling of "I want it to be a special day", which comes from "thank you".

And cleanliness is not only reflected in the design of the socks, but also in the gift tins.
These steel cans are made from recycled materials and can be used for secondary purposes such as storing coffee beans.
The fact that there is no design included is a nice point when it comes to secondary use.

Additionally, the tag is embossed with the brand logo, so you can write a message on it and give it as a gift.
There is no problem even if you do not go out of your way to buy a message card.
