Good evening. This is Ikeda.
Yesterday was the first regular holiday that made me realize how quickly time passes.
I didn't have much of a holiday around the time of the pre-opening, so I just watched ramen YouTube videos at home, went for a walk, read a magazine, and then the day was over.
This is fine since the main thing I wanted to do was rest my body, but since there are exhibits I want to see, like FILM RED, I'm thinking of making my next regular day off an active day.
Well, today we will talk about SAYATOMO.
For more information on the concept, please take a look at our past posts on Instagram and online.
Speaking of SAYATOMO, elements of Japanese clothing such as hakama, kimono, and linen are indispensable.
( I learned that the hakama is short and light , and the long line is from SAYATOMO.)
We are developing pants that evoke nostalgia for the time when Japanese clothing was changing to Western clothing, but at the same time give you a sense of newness.
This alone may make you think it's old-fashioned, but of course that's not the case.
The silhouette changes depending on the item, but the tapered style and the addition of Japanese-style tucks create very beautiful lines.
It has been updated each season, including more items that are thicker than when it first started.
Don't overlook the fact that it can be easily adjusted, with elastic at the waist and adjusters on the sides.
The waist design has Japanese clothing elements, so if you tuck it in, you can bring out SAYATOMO's characteristics even more.
Especially at this time of year, when clothes tend to be simple and cut-and-sew, I think it's a good idea to come up with designs like this.
The Mukabaki Cargo Pants have a drawcord on the hem to make them look like cargo pants, so make sure to pay attention to every detail.
As we have introduced so far, SAYATOMO's design has been significantly updated since 22AW.
Details will be introduced after delivery starts, but we are planning to update the items to even better items, so please look forward to it.
