The exciting World Cup has come to an end.
As expected, I watched the final live even though I was not feeling well.

Today we would like to introduce you to the ULTERIOR items that arrived so quickly.
Speaking of ULTERIOR, this is one of the 2 types that have arrived from ESSENTIAL LINE.

I'm sure many of you are familiar with it, so I'll briefly explain ESSENTIAL LINE.
ESSENTIAL LINE is a line derived from carefully selected items that have been developed as a brand for a long time.
I feel that they have a collection of items that can be called brand icons because they have universal designs regardless of the season.

One of those ESSENTIAL LINEs is the WASHED BIZEN GABADINE TUCKED PANTS.
It's a small detail, but last season's name was "TWILL", but this season it has been changed to "GABADINE".
The general term for twill is twill, and gabardine is part of it, so I don't think there's any problem with thinking too much about it.
I wrote about it during the pre-opening, and many people already know it as a standard, so I'll just give a quick explanation without going into too much detail.

At first glance, you can feel the atmosphere of trousers, but the design was inspired by military pants and overpants.
The three buttons on the front are extended quite a bit, giving it a distinctive front design.

This season, there are two intucks, giving you a more spacious feel.
The addition of the intuck gives the flat front look a three-dimensional feel, which is a nice update for me personally.

The material used here is Bizen gabardine, which is woven on old-fashioned power looms and takes longer than usual to weave.
The result of this weaving process is an elegant luster and unique texture.
Since it is made of gabardine, it has a high density, but it is not hard and has a soft texture.
Perhaps the texture of the fabric, which is contrary to what you hear about gabardine, is one of the factors that attracts so many people.

However, not only the weaving method but also the dyeing process shows a thorough commitment to the fabric.
Rather than dyeing normally, the fabric is dyed while washing, creating a bulge in the fabric and giving it a washed-out texture.
I think you can experience the uniqueness of ULTERIOR through the texture of this fabric, which you can't tell just by looking at it.

Of course, brand new condition is attractive, but the more you wear and wash your clothes over and over again, the more the texture will gradually improve, so you should definitely enjoy watching them change over time.
I think this is a fun way to enjoy it because it's not an eccentric design.

Two colors are selected: FLAX and BLACK.
This FLAX has a very nice color.
It's neither white nor off-white, and the ambiguous atmosphere is irresistible.
I think it's a very good balance, not too refreshing and not too cute.
BLACK goes without saying, but if I had to choose BLACK as my first choice, I'd say BLACK.

It may be too early since 2022, but it is definitely ULTERIOR's ESSENTIAL LINE.
