Sumi is a pale gray, doro is a deep brown, and even though they are the same item, they have completely different expressions.
Both colors have a nice uneven feel and also have deodorizing effects.
Personally, I feel that doro has a more uneven feel.
Maybe it just looks that way because it's a dark color.
