Good evening. This is Ikeda.
I guess it's time for a break after Golden Week ended.
The only thing typical of GW was that my plans to go to dreamland fell through, so I couldn't feel GW at all.
It's not like tourists come to the store just because it's Golden Week.
When I watch the news about the crowds during Golden Week, I find myself wishing I could spend the day with peace of mind and time without encountering crowds.
There's always too much room, though.
I'm a member of the leisurely generation, but I'm still not sure whether I belong to Generation Z or not.
When I looked it up, it didn't say what year he was born, but rather vaguely written as if he was born in the mid-90s, so my interpretation is that he falls somewhere on the border with the Millennial generation.
I still don't understand why people want to group people into XX generation.
I think it would be better to judge individuals instead of dividing them by generation, since people may be arbitrarily judged on how they think based on how they are divided.
I feel like people who make arbitrary decisions don't have the peace of mind to do so.
Thinking that the relaxed generation has a positive mindset, I would like to introduce ULTERIOR's DOBBY CHECKS S/C JKT and DOBBY CHECKS EASY SLACKS.
I'll talk about the fabric used later, but since I previously wrote about it in ``Imuru'' , where I introduced DOBBY CHECKS MIL-SHIRT, I thought I'd write briefly about it.
By the way, DOBBY CHECKS MIL-SHIRT is already sold out, so please be careful.
Since I mentioned the fabric, let's start with the fabric used.
Made of 100% cotton dobby check fabric, it has a distinctive three-dimensional check pattern.
It's not just a dobby check, it's woven using two-color thread, so it's a unique ULTERIOR style that doesn't have a monotonous pattern.
The checkered pattern, which is hard to describe, is very appealing.
S/C JKT and EASY SLACKS using such dobby check fabric.
Let's start with S/C JKT.
The design source for this is a vintage stand collar work jacket.
However, rather than a simple stand-up collar, the design around the collar gives a nice sense of discomfort.
The front body has a diagonal pattern, and when all the buttons are fastened, the collar overlaps.
You can enjoy it in various styles depending on how you fasten the buttons, or you can fold the collar and wear it like a jacket lapel.
It's a great idea to have one item that can be worn in a variety of ways.
You can change it depending on the scene, so enjoy it in your own way.
Next is EASY SLACKS.
This is an ULTERIOR-like piece that features a raised front design similar to vintage trousers.
Although they are slacks, they have an elastic waist and a drawcord, so you can feel the relaxed feeling of pajama pants.
I guess it's an image that combines the best features of slacks and pajama pants.
It may seem like a completely opposite comparison, but it's just an image.
Both of these items have a roomy silhouette and the thin texture of the fabric makes them extremely comfortable to wear.
A set-up may give an intimidating impression, but if you wear this item as a set-up, you will be able to bring out a relaxed atmosphere.
If you want to create a bit of a formal atmosphere, you can wear it like a lapel jacket.
Of course, each item is easy to wear on its own, so you can enjoy it in a variety of styles.
I think it has a high degree of versatility that cannot be achieved unless you have a relaxed mind.
It makes me think again about how important it is to have space in your mind, time, and even life.
Don't miss ULTERIOR's DOBBY CHECKS S/C JKT and DOBBY CHECKS EASY SLACKS, which will bring you peace of mind even when you're in a pinch.
