Accompanied by
Good evening. This is Ikeda.
Yesterday, I went to see an exhibition by my favorite artist on my regular day off.
I went to see two exhibits, but I couldn't see one because it was before the exhibition period.
I had assumed that the festival had already started, and I was disappointed in myself for not checking the dates before I went.
Also, the venue was far away, so I was disappointed.
Although I was disappointed, I thought it would be a loss if I went home, so I went to another exhibit.
I was able to see this clearly.
I've always liked his glass artist, and all of his works were wonderful.
Her behavior is not flashy, but it gives you a sense of kindness and adds color to your everyday life.
Even after I took him home and started using him, I felt so calm that I almost felt like he had been with me all along.
Furthermore, the glass used is car windows and beer bottles that were scheduled to be discarded, so the background is also wonderful.
I regret not being able to meet the artist, but I would like to talk to him at the next exhibition.
I dream of collecting things that add color to my everyday life, but I'm doing all I can with just clothes, so today I'd like to introduce you to Satou's accessories.
These kids are sure to add something to your daily life and style.
First up is touki brooch, a new addition this season.
This item is produced in collaboration with Shibukusa Ryuzogama, a kiln of Shibukusa ware, a traditional craft of Hida Takayama.
Of course, I didn't know this because I was ignorant, but apparently Shibukusa Ryuzogama also produces various collaboration items.
The family motto is , ``Tradition leads to decline, and tradition continues to lead to innovation.''
deep.
By the way, the pottery used in the tag is also Shibugusa ware.
The Satou brand logo is engraved on the pottery and is coated with silver glaze.
However, by applying it randomly rather than evenly, the design brought out the ground color of the pottery.
At first glance, it looks like the glaze has rubbed off and the base is exposed as it is used.
Also, like the take series, each item is handmade, so the way the glaze is applied will vary.
I think the hand-finished finish creates a very tasteful look that cannot be achieved with shiny silver.
Shiny silver doesn't seem to go well with the satou atmosphere, but this ceramic finish gives it a satou-like feel.
Although the item name includes the word brooch, I feel it would be better to call it a pin badge rather than a brooch.
For some reason, the hurdles to wearing a brooch seem to be high, so I would like people to wear it as casually as a pin badge.
You can pair it with satou items like LOOK, or you can attach it to other brands or your own bags.
Even if your style ends up being monotonous, if you add it gently, it will add some color to your style.
Next is take object, which was originally developed but not selected.
I didn't have the courage to order it the first time because of the price, but since the size can be adjusted, I decided to order it this season.
You may be familiar with it from the take series, but it is made using bamboo craft, a traditional craft in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture.
As mentioned above, each item is handmade.
Regarding the size, it is 25cm in diameter.
This is because, at the exhibition, there was a sample that was twice that size, about 50 cm, but it was difficult to display it at that size, so I ordered half the size.
You can also purchase the items on display, and since they are basically made to order, you can choose the size of your choice.
At the 23AW exhibition, I was kind of happy to see Mr. Sato making a similar size and showing it as a sample.
I'm sorry that this doesn't really matter to you.
Also, unlike the take key ring mentioned below, it is ordered undyed.
It is possible to request dyed items when ordering, but I thought it would be difficult to tell what the undyed condition is.
You can see the dyed condition in other take series.
Although we did take this into consideration, one of the honest reasons we decided to go undyed was that dyeing would increase the price.
Personally, I feel that the result was better with no dyeing.
Of course, the quaint look of the dyed look is good, but I feel that the natural color that comes from not dyeing it gives a sense of freshness and lightness, which suits the interior perfectly.
Please consider dyeing based on the price and atmosphere.
We may be able to produce colors other than brown, so please feel free to contact us.
I put it down like a shade for a stand light, but you can also hang it from the ceiling with a cord or string.
However, there is a possibility that bamboo may catch fire if used as a lampshade, so please consider carefully how you display it.
Even if it is not a lampshade, it has a strong presence and adds color to your home, or rather, it may be a great choice to be the centerpiece.
The last one is take key ring which continues to be developed.
We also have selections for 22AW, so it's easy.
This one is also made using bamboo craft, which is a traditional craft from Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, mentioned above.
Unlike the take object, it is dyed, giving it a quaint atmosphere.
On the other hand, the cut bamboo with the brand logo attached to the side has not been dyed and has the original color of bamboo.
If both are dyed brown, I feel like it would give a too heavy feeling, so I wonder if it's a good balance.
The best way to wear it is to attach it to your belt loop.
I'm trying to go for the classic style, but for some reason the brands I choose tend to have easy pants, and the pants I wear don't really have belt loops.
So, I attach it to the shoulder part of my bag.
If you don't tuck it in often, it may be more practical to attach it to a bag.
Rather than adding color to your style, I think it adds a tasteful atmosphere.
By the way, please note that the take necklace is sold out quickly.
I can't help but fantasize that I would be overjoyed if I received a gift along with a letter.
Of course, I am also very happy to reward myself.
Please check out satou's accessories that add color and a tasteful atmosphere and will always be by your side.
